Across Oregon, housing prices in the private market are out of reach of ordinary people. It’s time to take action and ensure that all Oregonians have the opportunity for success that comes with having an affordable place to live.

We are calling on the Legislature to:
  • Dedicate new sources of funds to meet critical housing needs

We need affordable homes for hardworking families and our neighbors on fixed incomes

The Housing Alliance requests $100 million this biennium to build and maintain affordable housing. The funds will be raised in a combination of biennial appropriations and dedicated revenue streams, and distributed through existing, proven programs to help meet community needs and priorities across the state. All Oregonians should be able to afford housing and still have enough money for groceries and other basic necessities. We need your support.

We are seeking the endorsements of organizations, businesses, religious congregations, social clubs, elected officials and prominent individuals. What is most important is that we show a broad range of support across the state. All endorsements are welcome!
